Our 48 hour cancellation policy

Elise Hair 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to the Elise Hair team; it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you.
We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary.  Therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.

Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.

As a small business, we hope you understand that we can’t afford no-shows or last-minute cancellations.  Consequently, we have a strictly enforced 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Confirmation of appointment
Clients receive a text message appointment reminder.  These reminders are set up through the client profile in the Elise Hair booking system.  These reminders are sent out 48 hours before the appointment time.

We confirm by text message from our online appointment scheduling software because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment booked several months or weeks ago.

From this confirmation text, you have the option of the following at no charge:

  • If you need to cancel, a telephone call is always preferred ast we may be able to reschedule your appointment.  Alternatively, please email us at hello@elisehair.co.uk or use our contact form.  Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments, which may result in a cancellation fee.  Not receiving electronic notification of your appointment from us before your appointment is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment.  We send reminders as a courtesy, but clients are responsible for keeping or cancelling their appointments regardless of whether they receive a reminder or not.

Cancellation Fees

  • If you cancel an appointment you are unable to attend up to 48 hours you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice you will be charged half the cost of the appointment.
  • If you cancel 24 hours or less you will be charged the full price of your appointment.
  • No-shows will also be charged the full price of the appointment.
